Decomposed body stuck to Kuantan jetty

The almost-decomposed body of a man believed to be washed away, was found stuck at the pole of a jetty in Tanah Putih Baru, Kuantan, Pahang on Friday. Kuantan police chief, ACP Mohd Jasmani Yusoff said the body was found by villagers at about 5.52pm Friday and there were no identification documents found on the man. "The dark-skinned victim was only clad in blue jeans with blue belt, without a shirt," he said, adding that the victim might have been in water for more than 24 hours. He said the initial investigation showed no cuts or any stab wound on the victim's body, but only minor bruises believed because the body was in water for too long. The body was sent to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital and police are looking for the victim's next of kin. Source: Bernama
