Kim Kardashian Wardrobe Malfunction Times Two!

Poor Kim Kardashian. Not only did she get upstaged by Kate Middleton in a McQueen dress (well, maybe -- have you compared the dresses yet?), but girl suffered two wardrobe malfunctions in the span of two days. The reality personality headed to a slew of events this weekend in the black and white garb she's been favoring lately, reportedly because boyfriend Kanye West is picking it out for her. But back to the gaffes. First, Kim's Spanx, or what looks like some sort of control top underwear, came out to say hi when the reality star bent over her car in a sheer dress at LAX on Saturday. (The Daily Mail has a clearer shot of the waistband, if you, uh, need a better eyeful.) Then on Sunday, Kim hawked the new Kardashian Khaos store in a sexy black dress in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon, but the white tag from her dress' lower half was blindingly visible under the camera flashes. Which, of course, has totally happened to us, too. Who really cuts those tags out? Source: HuffPost Usually it's just the people in Kim's presence who have (planned?) wardrobe foibles, although, we're sure she doesn't really mind the spotlight.

Drew Barrymore marries Will Kopelman

Drew Barrymore has married Will Kopelman. The 'Charlie's Angels' actress - who is pregnant with her first child - tied the knot with the art dealer at their home in Montecito, California yesterday (02.06.12). A source told People.com the Jewish ceremony was "a classic, simple, very pretty, garden-inspired wedding," officiated by the Kopelman family's rabbi. Among guests were Drew's 'Charlie's Angels' co-star Cameron Diaz, TV host Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy Juvonen and actresses Busy Philipps and Reese Witherspoon, the latter accompanied by her husband, Jim Toth. Drew, 37, wore a Chanel gown for the nuptials, while Will, 34, wore a suit by the same designer, where his father was formerly an executive. A friend said Drew is happy to be settling down and is "ready for a quieter, more family-oriented life". Another source told US Weekly magazine:"Drew has found a family that she wants to be a part of, for so long she had the fun friends and career success but always wanted to be part of a close family, like Will's." Another friend said Drew had decided on a June wedding because she wanted "to get married before the baby comes, but doesn't want to be huge." Will proposed to Drew during a holiday in Sun Valley, Idaho, in January. The marriage is Drew's third, after she was wed to Welsh bar owner Jeremy Thomas between March and April 1994 and comedian Tom Green, who she married in July 2001, but filed for divorce from before the end of the year. In February Drew told how much she was looking forward to becoming a part of Will's family. She said: "I am as in love with his family as I am with him. Which is an extraordinary sort of gift. You never take that for granted. It really is an absolute blessing. I feel very lucky. They're incredible people." Source: DailyChina

'Snow White' zaps 'Men in Black'

Director of the movie Rupert Sanders (R) poses with cast members Kristen Stewart and Sam Claflin (2nd L), and producer Joe Roth at an industry screening of "Snow White and the Huntsman" at the Mann Village theatre in Westwood, California May 29, 2012.[Photo/Agencies] "Snow White and the Huntsman" broke the spell of lackluster performances by many big-budget films this summer season at movie theaters, grabbing $56.3 million in its first weekend to top "Men in Black 3," according to studio estimates on Sunday. The film, a dark and sometimes violent take on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, collected an additional $39.3 million in 45 international markets where it also opened this weekend. The solid debut led Universal Pictures' "Snow White" to escape the fate of "Battleship," also distributed by Universal, and Warner Bros' vampire film "Dark Shadows," both of which fell victim to blockbuster "The Avengers." "I'm very happy about it. The uniqueness of the campaign from the get-go made (the film) stand out as not just the quintessential fairy tale; it was telling a very different story," Nikki Rocco, president of domestic distribution at Universal Pictures, told Reuters. "Men in Black 3," which opened last week, collected $29.3 million in ticket sales in U.S. and Canadian theaters to fall to the No. 2 position on U.S. and Canadian box office charts. Starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as black-suited secret agents, together again for the first time since 2002, "MIB 3" ticket sales slipped by 58 percent from its opening weekend. It has collected $274.6 million in overseas markets since its release. "Snow White and the Huntsman," which starred Kristen Stewart from box office hit "The Twilight Saga" vampire films, Oscar-winner Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth from "The Avengers," is the second film this year inspired by the classic fairy tale. In March, "Mirror Mirror," starring Julia Roberts as the evil queen, failed to gain large audiences with $18 million on its first weekend and $62 million in domestic ticket sales. Producers of that film rushed to beat "Snow White and the Huntsman" to the screen, changing their opening date from June to March. "The filmmakers, producers and the talent knew how different this film would be. We had no concern whatsoever," said Rocco. "Mirror Mirror" was ... targeted to little girls. They tried to make a comedy of it. That's not what we were intending to do." Hollywood experts had predicted that "Snow White and the Huntsman" would open with a relatively paltry $35 million in ticket sales, according to Paul Dergarabedian, president of the box office division of Hollywood.com. The film, which was made for $170 million, needed $42 million in ticket sales over the weekend to break-even, according to analyst Tony Wible, managing director of Janney Montgomery Scott. A film generally completes its run with three times its opening weekend gross, and its studio gets about half the ticket sales revenue. A film also generates revenue from home video and other sales after its theatrical run. "AVENGERS" MAKES MOVIE HISTORY In its fifth week in theaters, "The Avengers" collection of Marvel superheros continued to flex its muscles, earning $20.3 million and taking the third position. The film has taken in $552.7 million in domestic sales, so far, making it the third best-selling film in history, surpassing "The Dark Knight" and behind only "Avatar" and "Titanic"." Internationally, it has collected $1.4 billion, pulling ahead of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," and behind only "Avatar" and "Titanic" among movies with the largest worldwide ticket totals, according to Box Office Mojo. "Battleship" continued to list at box offices, collecting $4.8 million and taking fourth on weekend charts. Produced for $209 million, the special effects-laden film starring Liam Neeson and singer Rihanna has grossed $290.1 million in worldwide ticket sales. "The Dictator, starring Sacha Baron Cohen as the heavily bearded, fictional despot Admiral General Aladeen, was fifth, commanding $4.7 million in its third week in theaters. Sony Corp's movie studio released "Men in Black 3." "The Avengers" was distributed by Walt Disney Co's Marvel Studios. Time Warner Inc'sWarner Bros. studios distributed "Dark Shadows." "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Battleship" were released by Universal Studios, a unit of Comcast Corp. Viacom Inc'sParamount Studios distributed "The Dictator". Source: DailyChina

Post-apocalyptic film "The Hunger Games" nabbed MTV's golden popcorn trophies for best male performance by Josh Hutcherson, best female performance by Jennifer Lawrence, best transformation by Elizabeth Banks and best fight. The movie of the year award, voted for by fans online throughout the show, went to vampire romance "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," beating out "The Hunger Games" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2." His barbs also were directed at pop star Justin Bieber, Charlie Sheen, John Travolta, Kanye West and "Shame" actor Michael Fassbender for "profiting from sex addiction." DEPP ROCKS "The Descendants" star Shailene Woodley picked up the breakthrough performance award. "Spiderman" actress Emma Stone was given the trailblazer trophy and Johnny Depp was honored with the generation award for a career spanning three decades. "It's like the get-out-of-the-business award basically, when you've done too much ... There's obviously something wrong with me," Depp joked in his acceptance speech. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor showed off his guitar skills, joining rockers The Black Keys for their hit singles "Gold On The Ceiling" and "Lonely Boy." In some of the night's more irreverent categories, Jennifer Aniston picked up the best on-screen dirtbag award for her role as a foul-mouthed, blackmailing dentist in "Horrible Bosses." The best kiss trophy was again given to "Twilight" leads Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who have won for their steamy on-screen clinches for the past three years. Despite its billing an outrageous event, the show seemed more tame than in previous years with little foul language or onstage antics. Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello did some spicing up with a near strip tease. The trio stars in an upcoming film, "Magic Mike," about male strippers. Notable moments came from "Batman" star Christian Bale, who gave an emotional introduction to an exclusive trailer for the upcoming film, "The Dark Knight Rises," after footage of the late Heath Ledger as the Joker character was shown from the second installment of the Christopher Nolan "Batman" franchise. Music, the foundation of MTV, played a key role throughout the show with first-ever house DJ, Martin Solveig, providing movie score mash-ups from "Jaws," "Pulp Fiction" and "Drive" between awards. Rapper Wiz Khalifa performed new song "Work Hard, Play Hard" and indie band fun. sang their hit single "We Are Young" with Janelle Monae to open the program. Source: ChinaDaily

Octuplets mom Suleman books stripper gigs to save home

Los Angeles (CNN) -- A month after Nadya Suleman took her clothes off for an adult video, the octuplets mom has accepted a job dancing topless at a Florida strip club, her representative said Monday. "This is not a new career for her," Gina Rodriguez told CNN. "She is just promoting her new video." Suleman revealed in April that she was so determined to build a future for her 14 young children that she would accept adult entertainment offers, although she would not touch another "human's flesh." "I wouldn't even kiss somebody for money," Suleman told HLN's "Showbiz Tonight" correspondent Nischelle Turner. "I would not kiss somebody. I wouldn't touch somebody." Suleman, 36, will perform two shows a night for four days at T's Lounge in West Palm Beach, starting July 11, Rodriguez said. "She will appear topless at some point during her show." Nadya Suleman: I was paid $8,000 for topless shot How much Suleman -- known in tabloids as "Octomom" -- would be paid will stay secret, Rodriguez said. The Orange County, California, home she bought after she gave birth to octuplets three years ago was recently placed in foreclosure, but the auction to sell it last month was postponed. Suleman, who collects food stamps to feed her 14 young children, filed for bankruptcy last month, but the case was tossed out of court because of paperwork issues. The adult video Suleman recorded last month is set for release in June, Rodriguez said. Suleman dreams of building a business "empire" that will pay for food, shelter and college educations for her 14 children, she told Turner. She ultimately hopes to become a role model for other women facing major struggles, she said. "In the future, and I've got to win the battle," she said. "But right now, people don't understand that." Web of doubt surrounds India spider attack

A swarm of poisonous spiders has wreaked havoc in a remote town in northeast India, scaring its inhabitants and possibly killing two people. According to a report Sunday in The Times of India, a large number of spiders descended on the town of Sadiya in Assam as a local festival came to end on May 8 and sparked panic as residents tried to avoid the swarm. The report said that scores of people later visited the town's hospital with spider bites and a middle-aged man and a teenage boy died after being bitten by the spiders. The incident alarmed local officials who told residents to stay indoors and considered spraying the town with insecticide, the report said. Jintu Gogoi told The Times he felt excruciating pain and nausea after being bitten by one of the spiders and his finger was black and swollen. However, the attack has puzzled spider experts. Last month, LR Saikia and a team of researchers from Dibrugarh University visited the town to investigate what had happened. Saikia told CNN that he believed the man may have died from a snake bite, while the boy may not have suffered any bite at all. "The evidence that we gathered does not support the claim that they died after being bitten by spiders," Saikia said. Saikia added that the man's relatives appeared to have taken him to traditional spiritual healers instead of qualified doctors when symptoms appeared. He confirmed that about 12 people have visited hospitals in the area recently, complaining of spider bites. "Only two of them were confirmed bitten by spiders. But they were ordinary spiders," Saikia said. Investigators drew their conclusions from questioning relatives of the two dead people about the type of bite marks and symptoms, Saikia said. Some 20 spiders resembling tarantulas from the incident were handed over to investigators during their week-long stay. Tarantulas indigenous to the region are not known to be fatally venomous, but about five of the recovered spiders are currently undergoing tests. When asked if spiders were likely to have swarmed the town of just under 1,000 people, Saikia said, "This is just a story ... based on rumors." Source: CNN

Cairo braces for third day of Mubarak trial protests

Cairo (CNN) -- Cairo braced for a third day of protests despite stifling heat Monday, as Egyptians vent anger over the trials of former top officials accused of ordering demonstrators killed during last year's revolution. Former President Hosni Mubarak and his Interior Minister Habib El Adly were sentenced to life in prison, while six top interior ministry officials were cleared of the charges. Protesters flooded into Cairo's Tahrir Square, the symbolic heart of Egypt's revolution, in the wake of the verdict, outraged at the clearing of the ministry officials and angry that Mubarak escaped the death penalty. The protesters chanted "Down with SCAF," the military council that has ruled the country since Mubarak was toppled last year, and shouted that the court ruling was illegitimate. There were smaller protests on Sunday, and vows to continue demonstrations on Monday. Protesters rally after Egypt's Hosni Mubarak is sentenced to life in prison Mubarak and his two sons, Gamal and Alaa Mubarak, were cleared of corruption charges on Saturday, but the sons now face two other sets of charges. On Sunday, prosecutors announced the two are charged with money laundering. Last week, they were charged with insider trading, accused of making a profit of 2 billion Egyptian pounds -- about $331 million -- through the practice on the Egyptian stock market. Hosni Mubarak has previously accused authorities of tarnishing his reputation and that of his family. He has said he and his children did not violate any laws. Five of Mubarak's aides have been freed; Gamal and Alaa Mubarak remain in prison. Adel Saeed, spokesman for the general prosecutor's office, said last week the two sons would remain in prison for the insider trading case. It was not immediately clear what impact the new charges of money laundering, would have on how long the two remain behind bars. Many Egyptians taking part in Sunday's protests expressed anger that former strongman Mubarak, 84, had escaped the death penalty. A cartoon published after the verdict showed Mubarak's scowling head in prison while his body, hands dripping with blood and labeled "Mubarak's regime," walked away waving a sheet of paper saying "innocent." The Muslim Brotherhood called for more protests on Sunday. Mubarak was immediately transferred to a prison in southern Cairo to serve his sentence, and a prosecutor said the former president, who attended court on a gurney, would be moved to the prison hospital. The former president's lawyer, Fareed El Deeb, said there were many holes in the judge's decision and that he was already preparing to appeal the Mubarak verdict. Protesters in the square waved Egyptian flags as they demanded justice for those killed and injured during last year's demonstrations. At least 61 people were injured Saturday in protests throughout Egypt, following the verdict, state TV reported. iReport: Egyptians protest current regime About 840 people died and more than 6,000 others were injured in last year's 18-day uprising, according to Amnesty International. "I'm asking the help of the people who gather in Tahrir Square to get justice for my son," pleaded one woman on the street in Cairo. "I need justice for my son. My son did not commit any crime. How come the sons of Mubarak are set free?" The Cairo courtroom erupted in chaos Saturday after the judge announced his decisions. It appeared the entire gallery of men dressed in suits began shouting and stood on their chairs. Fists flew and at least one man suffered a bleeding gash to his chin. "We want honesty!" they shouted. "Revolution till victory!" A strongman's fall from grace The echoing cheers outside the police academy where the trial was held turned to angry shouts as people first heard Mubarak's sentence, then heard that all of Mubarak's senior advisers and his two sons were acquitted. The mostly anti-Mubarak crowd threw rocks at police, smashed cars and cursed the ruling military council. The sentence delivered by Judge Ahmed Refaat was the final chapter of Mubarak's iron rule of Egypt that ended in February 2011. He said it offered people relief after living "in 30 years of dark without any hope." "The verdicts are insults to the Egyptian people and the judicial system. It's a festival of innocent verdicts to El Adly's aides who killed and tortured free citizens for years," said Rami Shath, a member of the Egyptian Revolution Alliance. Human Rights Watch said the verdict sends a message to Egypt's future leaders that they are not above the law, though it said the acquittals give "a green light to future police abuse." Amnesty International described the verdict as "a significant step towards combating long-standing impunity in Egypt" but it too said the ruling leaves many waiting for full justice. Arab leaders: Where are they now? David Scheffer, an American lawyer and diplomat who served as the first U.S. ambassador-at-large for war crimes issues, said the trial was significant for the Arab world even if it could have been run better. "While I want to emphasize the problems with the trial itself, it's also important to recognize that the Egyptian judicial system has held a leader accountable for very serious crimes that occurred during the uprising in Egypt," Scheffer told CNN. "In the very heart of the Arab world, where this has not occurred before in a civilian court, a leader has actually been brought to justice, a leader who has been present in the courtroom has brought to some level of justice by a domestic court for gross human rights abuses." Timeline of Mubarak's ascent and fall from power The White House had no comment on Mubarak's sentence. The trial has been a spectacle few Egyptians thought they would see, with Mubarak on the gurney and locked in a defendant's cage. The verdict follows Friday's expiration of a notorious emergency law that had been in effect since shortly after Mubarak came to power in October 1981 and gave police sweeping powers. Source: CNN

Britain's Prince Philip hospitalized with bladder infection

London (CNN) -- Prince Philip was hospitalized in Britain on Monday with a bladder infection, forcing him to miss part of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee celebration, Buckingham Palace said. The Duke of Edinburgh, who will be 91 on Sunday, was taken to King Edward VII Hospital in London from Windsor Castle "as a precautionary measure after developing a bladder infection, which is being assessed and treated," the palace said in a statement. The queen's husband will remain hospitalized and under observation "for a few days," the statement said. Prince Charles noted his father's illness while addressing thousands who packed the Buckingham Palace grounds for a concert Monday night featuring music legends including Elton John and Stevie Wonder. "The only sad thing about this evening is that my father couldn't be here with us," the prince said. "Because unfortunately, he has taken unwell." Charles then asked the concertgoers to send his father a message, saying, "If we shout loud enough, he might just hear us in (the) hospital." The crowd responded with a roar, which segued into chants of "Philip! Philip!" In addition to the concert, Philip will miss Tuesday's service of thanksgiving, luncheon and carriage procession marking the 60th anniversary of Elizabeth's coronation. "He is, understandably, disappointed," the palace said. Paul McCartney, one of the performers Monday night, addressed fans outside Buckingham Palace after news of Philip's hospitalization broke, wishing the prince a speedy recovery. In December, Philip spent four nights, including Christmas Eve and Christmas, in Papworth Hospital being treated for a blocked coronary artery. When Philip turned 90 last year, he said he would gradually "wind down" his workload. "I reckon I've done my bit. I want to enjoy myself now ... have less responsibility, less frantic rushing about, less preparation, less trying to think of something to say," he told the BBC in an interview. The longest-serving consort in British history, Philip married then-Princess Elizabeth in November 1947 in Westminster Abbey. They had two children, Prince Charles and Princess Anne, before she acceded to the throne, and two afterward -- Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. They have eight grandchildren. Born the prince of Greece and Denmark on the Greek island of Corfu in 1921, Philip left Greece with his family when he was 18 months old after King Constantine was forced to abdicate the throne following a revolution. The family moved to Paris and then England in 1928, and Philip also went to school in Germany. Philip renounced his Greek title when he became a naturalized British subject in 1947. He joined the Royal Navy in 1939, and met Elizabeth in July that year when she visited the Royal Navy College in Dartmouth with her father, King George VI. After Princess Elizabeth became queen, Philip gave up his naval career to support her and embarked on a long career of charity work, notable for its initiatives for young people. Both he and the queen are great-great-grandchildren of Queen Victoria, and are also related through his father's side -- his paternal grandfather, King George I of Greece, was Queen Alexandra's brother. Philip has made more than 5,000 public speeches during his working life, according to Buckingham Palace. Source: CNN

'Canadian Psycho' arrested in Berlin

BERLIN - Police in Berlin on Monday arrested a man suspected of being the "Canadian Psycho", who is thought to have killed and chopped up his boyfriend and filmed the attack, a spokesman said. The police spokesman confirmed Luka Rocco Magnotta, a 29-year-old Canadian gay former porn star, was picked up by authorities in an Internet cafe in Neukoelln, a working-class district of Berlin. French police had said earlier Monday they were checking whether Magnotta may have fled Paris for other parts of France or Europe through an international bus station. One employee at the station claimed to have seen Magnotta board a bus to Berlin on Friday night while another said someone bearing a close resemblance to the suspect had boarded a bus for Romania. Magnotta has been dubbed the Canadian Psycho by the press because a video circulating online and believed to be linked to him shows one man stab another with an ice pick and dismember him while a song from the film "American Psycho" plays in the background. Interpol on Thursday issued a Red Notice wanted-persons alert for Magnotta, also known as Eric Clinton Newman and Vladimir Romanov, to its 190 member countries after a video of the grisly killing surfaced online. The murder came to light when Canadian police said Tuesday that a human foot had been sent to the headquarters of Canada's ruling Conservative Party. The victim, a student identified as Lin Jun, had been "in a relationship" with the porn star, according to Montreal police. Source: AsiaOne
